Passed Smog Again.

1988 Renix with over 300,000 miles. Passed without a glitch.
Changed oil and put original airbox back on.
Had it good and warmed up.
I Love My Jeep...
In fifteen years, only changed valve cover gasket and
Replaced oil pump the first time I did the RMS.
The last two times my converter was not hollow from being banged on the Rocks.
Only driving Jeep about 6,000 a year now.
It is great to have a vehicle that makes you smile every time you drive it.

The Cherokee is a freaking beast, and that's a true testament to the fortitude of the venerable XJ and its long-lived 4.0 liter motor, Jim. You deserve a smog decal on the side of your rig for every successful mission to the smog station, not unlike the mission insignia on the side of an A-10 Warthog.
