What is behind the passenger side firewall? Up high on a '01. Is the anything below the fake cowl 'grill' in front of the windshield on that side or is that empty space?

Are you trying to make the snorkel off of madxj.com? Otherwise, I don't think there is anything under there for the grill part of it other than the wiper motor.

the intake for the HVAC was under there on the passenger side on the older XJs
I'd imagine it's still there on the newer ones.
