Parting Out 1996 Cherokee

I am parting out a wrecked 96 Cherokee. I bought this xj for the drivetrain, but I have decided to go a different direction.

The vehicle was wrecked pretty hard on the right side. The right side doors won't open, and the remains of the fender are tucked into the gap of the front door. Aside from that, the body is clean. Hardly any rust.

Drivetrain:

4.0 runs great. I heard it run for about 10 minutes. Didn't seem to use any oil and was smooth too. AW4 is unknown working condition. NP231 shifts fine, and I'd like to keep it.

Body:

Left side is in great shape. Hatch is too; no cracks, etc. Shocks are a little weak. 3 of the rims are nice shape, the right front one has some wreck rash.

Axles:

The Dana 30 has a leaked fluid on the right side since I got it. Not sure where. I'll try to find out where this weekend. Gears are unknown. Rear axle is a 27-spline 8.25. Pretty much all of the steering/suspension parts are bent or broken.

Interior:

Seats are in decent shape. Back seat has some wear, but there's no cig burns, rips, or anything like that. All could use a good scrubbing. Driver's seat mount is broken. Console is complete. Interior has everything except a radio.

Can ship smaller items. Larger items pick up only.

Will add more pics tomorrow.

I'm going to be at the Redbird trail cleanup this weekend, so I can deliver parts there.

Sold the gauge cluster, brake light on the hatch, and complete exhaust system.

Prices on some stuff:
All three seats: $125 (driver's seat has a broken mount bracket, other two are in nice shape)
Left front fender w/ flare: $50
Complete door, with interior/window: $150
Hatch: $100
Full size spare: $50

Let me know if you need anything!

Leaning toward keeping the drivetrain, but I'd let it go for $500.

Rearleaf springs?

Stilly, pull out that fog lamp switch assembly for me. 6 pack of your choice of liquid courage good enough? Hold onto it until I make it home again? Maybe something Wisconsin native?

Rearleaf springs?

They're pretty decent. But with the amount of rust on the vehicle, they won't be easy to come out. I'll see if I can get them out.

Hit me with an offer on them.

I've got it pulled. I'll hang on to it for you. Beer will work.

I don't know what the going rate for them are?

Honestly, I don't want to pay more then 50 - 60. If that isn't worth your time, I understand. This is only going to be temp. until I lift and order a lift kit with new leaf springs.

I can do $60. I should be able to get them to you this weekend, but we'll see. If not, we'll figure something out.

Eck, let me check out money situation first (yeah, I probably should have done that first). If I can't get them this week, might figure out some other time to meet up or something (maybe next time you goto Badlands).

Stilly, does it have a 2" reciever?

It does have a 2" receiver, but it's rusted to the frame. I'd have to get medievil with a torch to get it off. Which I might do in order to get the leaf springs out.

That's fine. I'll work on getting them out too.

Can you do that before this weekend? :D
