Good day
1998 XJ Classic, 4.0L, AT, ~150k/mi, all stock
Having an issue where the PCM is throwing P0108 yet having a good MAP input.
Went through two sensors and a second PCM with same symptoms.
Ohm'd out all wires to PCM and all are less that 1 ohm.
Backprobed the sensor and get 5V, varying signal, and 0 as expected.
Cracked open the PCM and the signal IS there at least half way through the circuit board where I lose the trace on the board.
MAP readings inside the PCM are around 1.3V at idle and range from 2.5-0.8V with a blip of the throttle.
Cleaned G106 near the PCM location to ensure it is good. It is reading less than 1 ohm to the PCM.
OBD readings are around 100kpa -> 14.5psi -> aka constant atmospheric pressure with a known good input.
Kinda stumped here and found this post referencing a melted harness that I'll investigate shortly -> Link
Any other ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
