Thats an odd one Hunter...

Off the top of my head there's a few things I can suggest. Make sure you got Quicktime 6 or higher (Open it up, then hit Help - About, the version number should be on the Splash Screen, under the logo on the LH side for me). If that's good you might re-download it (might have been a bad download...), re-install it, then reboot the computer and try again.

Failing that, let me know and I'll whip up an alternative for you.
