my buddy's wife spun out her 2007 forrester and hit a tree with the passenger side door. they totalled it, but weld in a small section of rocker pannel and floor, replace the door, and possibly fender, and you have a mint low mileage awd daily driver for cheap.
he took good care of this car, it has new tires and a new battery, 78k miles. all wheel drive, silver, 2.5l, tons of premium stuff. runs and drives fine, no problems other than cosmetics. i think the glass in that door is still good too.
rather than letting it go to the insurance company, i told him i'd throw it up for sale. the catch is we need to sell it by tomorrow. his wife doesnt want to invest in it, so he wont buy it back unless it's sold.
the price is 4k OBO.
it's going on craigslist shortly, i figured i'd give you guys first dibs.

Its probally going to need more then meets the eye, you would probally have to change the whole pillar where the hinges are and a lot of time that means removing the dashboard. Gonna need a big pull new door. If you got a new door and tried to bolt it to those hinges odds are its not gonna close. Check the prices for what that year and model car is going for, might not be worth the hassle.

i've fixed many a XXXXed up cars, it's a cheap fix. likely sold anyways, craigslist blew up the email.
