Off road in Western Iowa

My name is Kyle and I joined this forum in hopes of finding someplace to wheel in western Iowa or eastern Nebraska. I'm not looking for anything too extreme. I have a lightly modded '88 XJ that is being worked on piece by piece every payday. If anybody could tell me of any parks or clubs that could get me going I would greatly appreciate it.

not too much on western IA unfortunatly. there is MIOBI that is in south central Iowa by Albia, there is Tuttle Creek in Randolph, KS that quite a few Nebraska guys hit. It is just pretty bare as far as wheeling options out that way.

Stay around and check the site out. We have random wheeling get togethers and have Winterfest at the begining of March.

Cheeseman-OUT!

There is a place in Western Iowa called Timber Ridge. I have always heard it is some really good wheelin but have never been there. You might want to check out their website.

As Tyler pointed out it would also be worth your while to check out Tuttle Creek, Kansas.

You have to buy a membership with a camping spot at timber ridge to wheel there unless its the one weekend a year that central iowa 4 wheels get us in there. Check out out good time wheelers they have a place north of Avoca if I remember right. Other than MIOBI not much around here at all. Tuttle Creek is only about 2 and half hours 3 hours from CB/Omaha area.
