Well i just replaced mine because it was a generic one put in by a mechanic. But usualluy if its getting old 35k-60k miles or your gettinn crappy mileage then its time to replace it.

my check engine light was on, and when i retreieve the code it said high voltage to the downstream sensor and the heated part was not working correctly. so i got a new one. put it in and the jeep is running better now than it has in a while so problem solved i guess. thanks guys
