Could anyone who has done this conversion tell me if there were any shifter linkage issues and how they were corrected? Thanks.

no issues, you just have to adjust it after it's connected.

also, i would recommend before you put the t-case in to open it up and reseal it. i didn't on mine and it's seeping ATF slightly. could have been just my t-case though, but i figured it was new from factory, so it should be ok. now, i have to drop the drivetrain to reseal it while in vehicle.

It's a direct swap. Some people say need to grind a little, but mine fit perfectly. I'm just having some problems adjusting the linkage. Heard from another XJer that linkage needs to be shortened 3" but not sure where.

Dumb questions here:

What's a 241J? Its the same as a 241C? What's it out of?

Rock-Trac

The NVG 241 J is the 4:1 t-case that comes in the Rubicon. Also known as the "Rock-Trac" or NVG 241 OR.

Ok, gotcha. Never heard it refered to as a 241J before.

When I hear 241 I think full size Dodges and Chevs.
