Ok, I tried this in modified tech but got no answers.
On the 242's front yoke, is it possible to remove the yoke and replace it with a flange style like the SYE kit from RE? I just put in the RE1801 this last weekend and thought it would be a cool idea to have a flange on both outputs. A setup like that would leave me having only to carry one type of driveshaft for the front and rear.

Workable?

Isn't a 242 front output 32 Spline? and the rear is 27...26..something like that?

A rear yoke from an NV241OR will work if you can remove the vibration dampner. A front yoke from a 241D might work too. Those are a flat flange, just not sure on the spline count.

the front yoke on the dodge 231 are a flange design but use a larger 4 bolt pattern. They use a 1330/1350 bolt pattern... I have an old currie sye kit in my 231 that uses a rear flange that is a 1310. For the front i swapped a dana 44 pinion yoke which is 26 spline and is a u-joint one.
