Guys,
I'm asking this here b/c I trust many of your ideas. I have a 4” lift on my cruiser and the stock shackles. This morning I took a speed bump a little faster than normal (not too fast, just got a little bounce) and my front end dropped a little bit but didn’t rebound back. I get out and see that my shackles are no longer vertical. They are horizontal. The bottom of the shackle is now facing forward level to the frame. What caused this and how can I fix the problem?
Maybe drill a hole in the center of the shackle and run a bolt through it to stop it from doing that or possibly do some type of anti-inversion deal (a triangle with the point facing the rear)
Suggestions?
Dan
