Well I just picked up another 98' XJ. It has 104k and the body is in perfect condition...runs strong. Time to swap the stuff from the old jeep to the new one. It sure will be nice to go wheeling again.

I rolled the old one a few years ago and have pretty much been out of wheeling...new job...bought a house...etc....time to get going again.

Life on the Delta is good. I will take pics of both jeeps this weekend. If all goes well I will have the swap done by the first of the year. I can't believe I am going to cut up another perfectly good 98' LOL!!!! But hey....gotta trim those fenders. At least I have a parts vehicle now!! Gotta look at the bright side.

JT, do you have any straight doors from the old XJ? I am starting my collection to replace my 97 doors which are all mangled. So far I have a Drivers front. I am going to make them all removable and run tube doors on the trail.

Sean, yes I have a few good doors. I will check this weekend and see how many...I think 3 are in decent shape.

Kevin...Bosco is good..getting older and much more mellow....he has not attacked anyone in years...he even lets people come up to the jeep...LOL!!!I know he misses the trail too.

If anyone wants to come over and assist with the swap....I could use the help....Remember..I do Have a Kegerator!!!!!!!!

I will start by removing the stuff from the old jeep and when that is accomplished I will post when I am ready to add to the new jeep.
