I got the first mod done to my new XJ, got the Wilderness Rear Bumper with Swingout Tire Carrier on, after I got it installed I noticed the rear sank about 2" so I think I'll be adding some Alcan Springs to the wish list.

Future Mods will include:
Re-gear to 465's
Rear locker (not sure which one yet)
Front Skid
Gas tank skid
Nates 4x4 recessed Winch Bumper
JCR's Stage 2 Rails
JCR's 1-ton steering
wheel spacers ( I like the wheels but they don't have the correct back spacing and are rubbing on the LA's)
Rock Hard's Roll Cage
Alcan leaf springs
front locker (down the road)
Winch (down the road)

Look foward to hitting the trails, but probably not until next spring after I get the steering issues worked out and some more protection under it, and a recovery point up front, and maybe the cage (safety first especially since the kids will be with me alot).

Now I am thinking I should have kept the back end caps on my bumper... there is jus this ugly black spot on both sides with 3 holes.... very ugly.

Whats stopping you from taking it wheeling now on the lighter rated trails?

...........other than no rocker guards..............(I am a firm believer in having rocker guards) I preach that to everyone and annoy the crap out of people, so ignore me and my rants :D

On Red Elephant and Mill Creek, XJboy did not have any rocker protection and was careful, didn't damage himself, you look like you got some lift in it.

Trust me that thought has crossed my mind, to the point that my wife is sick of hearing it. We just moved to Longmont and my days off are filled with Honey-Do's, but soon, oh yes, soon my plans to take over the Worl..er.. i mean the trail..aww nevermind! :firedevil

I did'nt like how it looked without them on either, so did a test fit and the drivers side fit great, and the passenger side just needed to have a notch taken out to fit around the hinge point for the swingout. Looked way better with them on I think.

Dang... Maybe I should look to getting some again... poo

Damm Skippy, I showed my wife that site, now I swear 20% of my pay goes there, everyone in my family is decked out in USMC. Semper Fi!
