I just became a member today I have a 94 xj with 3.5 lift running 32's and have a ton off fun, I also have a great deal of fun with my Early Bronco's, I am interested in becoming a member of a chapter and I am guessing that this is the one I need to be in. I also am wanting to get as much info on lifting and all the cheaper mods that I can do myself that I can poss get. fender flares and so on, combining lifts, I know there have to be tricks out there ccan you guys help me get started. Thanks, Looking foreward to becoming good freinds with you all.!

Welcome to the boards.
If you haven't checked out our extensive archive of information, it would really aid you in answering many of your questions.
Hope you stick around long enough to make it out to Winterfest in March.

Edit: Damn rev, you beat me to it.:D

The search feature is your friend. Use it, know it, live it.
Again welcome abord. Thick skin is recommended, but not required.
You might find the MWC has a slight reputation for being the rough and rowdy crowd. However don't let that scare you away, there actually just a bunch of big' ol teddy bears when it really comes down to it. If fact, we just had a member turn 108 years old. How rowdy can a 108 year old man get, I mean really?

You may or may not know, there is a difference between a "forum user" and a paying member.

Come to Winterfest in March, there you will have the oppertunity to become initiated into the MWC. Initiation only occurs at MWC campfires so Winterfest will be your first oppertunity. It'll only hurt for a little while, then it feels like warm apple pie.....

(If this guy shows up, someone remind Sean to bring the sheep.)

For Winterfest info check the sticky @ the top of the page. For info on how to post pics. search in the user support forum. HTH. JIM. And Welcome.

Welcome Twisted94 ... good to see another one interested in the sport. I see you got most of the answers you needed.

Let me add that this is an internet site where we get to know each other somewhat and keep in touch. The best thing about this organization though, is that we do actually get together to wheel, and/or fix our junk, or just party. Keep your eyes and ears open for formal or informal events.

Read ... This site has links to lots of tech. Most everyone is open to redundant questions as long as they have a pretty good idea you have researched before hand.

Again ... welcome!

Les

PS: Opie ... quit yer whining and put on a sweater! :D

really - what is he looking to get for them?

Im thinking a few different things for a crawl box, but it has to have 3 things:

twinsticks, drivers side drop, and at least 5:1 at the end low ratio

Why are they so hard for someone to come and buy?

Well there are just fewer and fewer EB's out there, and parts are getting tougher to get, you can get these from a supply house like Jeffs Bronco Graveyard, But they are about 500 not rebuilt, Just getting harder to find.
