Hi, SoCal chapter. New to the world of 4 wheeling. I am out of Hesperia my toy is an 89 xj with 31's everything else is bone stock and not the daily driver.Been through all the easy stuff in Big Bear and Arrowhead and over Ord Mountain. I have read a lot of the different forums and have lot of ideas.Brakes, Lift, Radiator, bumpers all of it takes time, money and know how. Lacking in all three of those areas but I will get there. Just wanted to say hi and as soon as I get up and running join in on some runs.

rock on man!

see you on the trail

Welcome!

Come out to an event, run what you have. It doesn't have to be the "be all, end all", to have fun on some trails with the group.

You'll have fun down there! Wheel it like you have it, you'll be fine - we were all where you are once (and for some of us it seems perpetual)

Come on out and play i did and my jeep is all stock with street tires. The only thing thats not stock is the bumper and winch.I had a blast in bigbear and had some really great spotters (Sequioa and others ) and got to get away from the realiaty of city life .....

i just ran with these guys... they are nice people... stock is not a problem for them... or me either (at least you have a/c):)

I ran bone stock for my first year or so. Not even disconects on the front sway bar. I could have a blast on Gold mountain or the Pinacles behind Arrowhead. Hmmm, for that matter I still do.
