Hiya, this is my first jeep since I started doing my own auto repairs. I have rebuilt engines and other stuff like that. My last 4x4 was a 1988 toyota van LE warn preemies, and it would embarrass a stock wrangler (true)
So what I got is a great deal on a 95 2 door XJ, 2.3l 4 cyl, manual everything.
There is a noise that to me sounds like a chain tensioner with no tension. My previous toyota had a very similar noise, and when I rebuilt the engine I discovered one tensioner had become loose, do these 4 cyl jeep motors have similar tensioners?
Would I have to pull out the whole engine to replace it?
