Happy Holidays!!!

I just picked up a brand new set of Clayton Offroad 4.5” Leaf Springs for the XJ. I went to install them and before torquing everything down, I noticed a lot of play in the front bushing. The bushing sleeve inner diameter in the front is larger than in the rear. The front is .630” (sized for a 5/8” bolt) and the rear is .570” (sized for a 9/16” bolt). Is this normal? Factory bolts are the same front and rear so I assumed the ID of the sleeve would be the same. If I could figure out how to add pictures from my phone, I would.

Thoughts?

The inner metal bushing sleeve is held in place with compression by the mounting pocket when the bolts are correctly torqued. I wouldn't worry, nothing should move. If you think it is necessary or beneficial you could add an additional inner sleeve to make up the space.
