Need Help

So my speedometer sensor is out and I am driving on RPM's to gauge my speed. I know my sensor is out but I cant find a part number or a store that has one. I have an 01 Sport with 231. Anyone have a part number and location I could get one?

Are you sure the sensor went bad? the plug is hooked up, and the gear is indexed propperly?

um.....gear indexed properly? I thought you just kinda dropped it back in. But yes the plug is hooked up and the wiring has good continuity.

i'd call the dealer to get the part number first. Then try to seek out using that part #.

there are 3-4 positions the sender can be secured in, If you look closely the shaft is offset. Sometimes it can be a real pain to get the gear set where the transfer case spins it.
