Getting ready to flat-tow my 89(First Gen) S10 Blazer and I'm going to need to take the bumper off, so I read in the Haynes manual about all the stuff to do and I followed the directions to the 'T' and all the bolts are out but the bumper won't come off...hooked it up with a chain to Zoro's hitch and it still didn't come off, still feels as solid as ever. I know I bent it slightly one time when I pulled this guy in an H2 out of a mud-hole so I thought maybe that might be it...any ideas?

Thanx

Ok figured out how to get the bumper off, so what's the proper way to flat-tow a vehicle drive-train wise(what should I put the TC &the trans in)? I heard that flat-towing(all 4 wheels on the ground) a 4wd will cause the front hubs to burn up/lock and cause the front axle on the vehicle being towed to lock-up and yank the 2 vehicles apart, is this true? If so how could I make this not happen?

It all depends on what t-case you have.

I was told an NP218 or NP208 once...It's got a lever and a 2wd position, a 4wd position, a neutral position and a 4lo position just like xj's...
