Need an AX15 measurement

Cross posting this since I think more Jeepspeed guys have 2WD transmissions then the general crew.

Hi guys, I need to get a measurement from an AX15 2WD trans and haven't been able to find it here or via Google. If someone has a 2WD trans and can get me this measurement, that would be very helpful!!!

I need from the front of the actual trans (not the front of the bell housing) to the center of the shifter box. I have marked in red where I need this measurement from.

I can measure my 4wd model when I get home tonight. I'll bet money that they're the same so that they didn't need to design more parts for the shifting mechanism inside. How precise of a measurement do you need? I don't have calipers that big, so I'll only be able to give you within 1/16"

I have been looking at pics of 4wd and 2wd and it's hard to tell but it seems they are the same but never having either in front of me, I can't say for sure.

As for the precision, within a 1/4" is fine. This is for another project and I am trying to compare the location of the AX15 shifter to my SM465 to make sure it will clear the bench seat. SM465's are short and puts the shifter fairly far forward.

I am interested in this as well; I have an NP435 going in my Manche that had the BA10; I would imagine the AX ans BA to be close, but who knows. I do know the SM465 and NP435 arent more than an inch or two apart.

Edit: for those that are wondering, the bellhousing is 7 3/8" long.
