So my fiancee want to get married in Jamaica and need some help organizing the thing. We've already been thru two travel agents and basically fired them both. One kept giving us the run-around, and the other was just a flake. We already know the resort we'd like to go to and the dates(somewhat flexible). I'd like to have a single contact for my guests to be able to call to book/pay for their trip.

Any members TA's? Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Brian

I booked several trips thru AAA.

I was very satisfied and there were some extra perks included that most people don't get.

BTW - I don't think you have to be a AAA member to use their travel agent services.

A friend of mine got married in Jamaica a few years back. He arranged everything through Sandals Resort. I dont think he even went through an agent here. He didnt have a bunch of guests to worry about though. It was a little private thing.

my suggestion is to get married on a cruise ship, but thats a totally different thing. Something to consider though.

We were really surprised at how many people said they wanted to go. We've both been married before, so this one's more for us. Rather spend the money on a beach vacation than anything formal.

Thanks Ray, I don't know why I haven't tried the resort/company directly. We're looking at one of the Super Clubs places. No beach or golf course on a cruise ship.
