NAXJA CO Adventure 2004

Details for the 2004 CO event have been posted in the trip planning section. Dates, places and accomodation are final. Trails have been decided on and will be finalized closer to the event once we have had a chance to get out and do some advance runs.

Don't forget we have planned this trip so you could spend a week in CO and then head west to join the CA gang on the Rubicon. That would make two weeks of adventure on the best trails in the world.

Some highlights of the CO event

HQ'd at Ridgway reservoir north of Ouray.
Ouray trails for the mild
Montrose trails for the wild

HQ'd at Chalk Creek campground just south on Buena Vista
All varieties of trail for all variety of vehicle.
The first running of CArnage Canyon.

Well Mr soon to be Texan,

After that comment, just don't expect a friendly wave when you leave TX to come skiing in CO, most TX SUV's we see are rubber up in the snow banks.

You'd be welcome to bring your CalTrans hack job to CO to run Carnage Canyon, I don't think it would make it though. Wanna try?

Plans are to be there with my Caltrans junk.

BTW I'll live in Texas but I don't think they will ever let me be a Texan!
