Dang it...! Just dropped coin on a new bumper. :(
Quick question for ya Dan so I can decide if ordering is more important than eating this week... :)
With the battery boxes you make, the width wise ones seem the most compact. Any thoughts on how this would work in an 83 CJ? I'm aredy running one Optima but would like to double up. Lord knows the factory battery box isn't the worlds greatest... I like the design of yours... just curious how others may have mounted it? Is it stout enough to mount vertically with the tops of the batteries facing towards the grille?

It is strong enough to mount vertically.

In very tight spaces I usually run 2 seperate boxes to make it easier but other things can always be moved to make more space...

Always when I am short on cash..
