I've already called to tell that he has misinterpreted the First Amendment. The 1st does not guarantee an audience, only the right to express an opinion. I suggest all who feel similarly also call him.

For those who are interested, the following is the entire text of the 1st Amendment, taken from the web site of The Constiution Society:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

From what I heard, the judge that struck it down this time was suggesting that is isn't fair that ONLY telemarketers get stopped, while everyone else gets to keep it up (politicians, non-profits, etc).

Sounded to me like he was saying "either ban 'em all, or you shouldn't be banning anyone"

If Congress were to widen the scope like he suggests (and we ALL know the chances of that, though we can hope), I wouldn't object...
