Moab 4/14 - 15 weekend

Anyone going to be in Moab next week? It's my birthday weekend and I'm trying to decide if I am going to be 4wheeling or rock climbing/hiking and other adventures.. Didnt want to go this weekend but looking to go next weekend after the EJS hype has died down. I'm sure there will be plenty of people there still but looking to see fellow XJers there.

i'm in a similar situation, as i may be meeting some friends out there to ride... so am wondering whether to bring the jeep or not if i go. ??

Mine's the 18th. But this Saturday, I'm heading to Pearlington, Miss., to see how the town is rebuilding (or not) 6 months after Katrina.

Thanks pacloconrad! Still have 6 more days till the "day" so thanks for the early wishes! Good luck down there, I have some friends down in LA that have sent some pictures of towns that are still in utter chaos, be interesting to see if they are working on building Pearlington back to what it used to be.

I have to take the XJ regardless, its my DD so cant do anything too crazy out there, still have to drive 3 hours home! I wish I had a bike to take there, mine got ran over by the X-wife and I just havent had the funds to invest with a new one. I might end up renting one but an ATV in the sand dunes sounds fun too..

I'm leaving today to head toward Moab. We'll be there some time Wen. We'll be meeting with some Australia friends that will be renting Rubicons. We will be on the trails Thur.-Sat. We'll be free to do what ever a couple of days before and after. With friends we'll be at the Super 8. Other days we'll be in our camper( white Dodge 1 ton with cab over camper and brown trailer). I'm sure we won't hit the trails to early. My XJ; white 91, 5 in lift, 2 dr. no visible mods on the out side. 2 stickers on rear window, CB antennaiein in the center of the roaf.
