Milestone for my ZJ

Cottontail

Three-De Off-Road
Location
Nashville, TN
It took me 9 years and 285 days, but I personally put 200,000 miles on my 1996 ZJ. It's a milestone for sure - growing up in a family where my dad would trade in a vehicle in under a year if it wouldn't average the mileage on the window sticker. Certainly the first (and likely the last) in my family to achieve that number.

Some stats - because I'm a geek like that:

  • Used 10,705.2 gallons of gas
  • Spent $23,053.20 in gas
  • Did 601 fill ups
  • Paid $1.19 a gallon on my first fill up - 19.8 gallons for $23.50
  • Paid $2.56 a gallon on my last fill up - 18.9 gallons for $48.50
  • Paid $4.00 a gallon on my most expensive fill up - 20.4 gallons for $81.75
  • Did 59 oil changes (all with Fram filters - I might add)
  • Went through 4 sets of tires
  • Went through 4 batteries
  • Did 6 brake jobs
  • Went through 3 sets of shocks
  • Drove it in 20 states.

So you got it used with 43,419 miles on the odometer?

I have no clue of any of the stats on my Jeeps. Great job keeping up with all of that data.

Yes sir - bought it with 43,419 at Southeast Jeep on 9/1/99.

That's awesome keeping up with all that!

I still have the records from my Chevy Z-24 and I sold that in 1997!

I have this little app on my phone that I started using to track fuel. I remember to log the numbers about once every 3 fillups. Needless to say, it's not very accurate. lol
