Mercury sable - Head Gasket

So, my mothers 99 sable(automatic, v6, single overhead pushrod) has a failing head gasket. I used a combustion leak tester and found exhaust is getting into the cooling system as well as oil. There is no sign of coolant mixing with engine oil so far. It seems to be a very slight failing head gasket, it took some time to see signs of exhaust gas in the cooling system.

I would like to tackle this, I have alldata and it doesn't seem horrible but just thought I would ask if anyone happens to be familiar or has done it on this car before and can offer any useful info. I bought the head gasket kit and have it all ready to go also with all the gaskets needed and new head bolts.

I have done this several times. The hardest part for me was the exhaust. Its such a pain on those Ford V-6's. Just be prepared to label all of your hardware. I found the easiest was using freezer bags that you can use a sharpie on.
