Membership?

OK, I know I'm probably being impatiant but, I sent my membership application out on Sept. 19th and I haven't recieved an e-mail or anything. I emailed [email protected] but got no response. The main problem is that I am a poor college kid and am having a hard time keeping my balance up while waiting for the check to clear. Are memberships just backed up or what? (I'm done whining now.) -thanks

If you are in college, get your bank in order, learned that high school. (not much else. )

Membership is a voluneer position and does have a life. I'm sure you'll see something soon. From what we see it does take about this amount of time to get things going for packages to go out.

I processed memberships this past weekend and if ya didn't get an email I didn't get your application. I'll be stopping by the P.O. Box again tomorrow and will see if yours is in there by now. Sorry the mail system's delaying you, though you're certainly not the first. That's the reason we launched the online application. I'll let ya know as soon as I've got your app.

Ok thanks. I am having my doubts about the universities mail system. I just started going directly to the post office. I wonder what the post mark date will be when it shows up?

CW I'm in the same boat as you. I've sent my app in online and paid via paypal and have yet to hear a word. Please either someone respond to me or the 3 previous emails I've sent or just send my money back and I'll know that y'all don't love me anymore.

AFAIK Tim processes them in batches. So give it a few days (IIRC way back it used to be almost a month turn around time while now it's ussually a few days to just over a week). Anyways if you don't hear anything in 7 days send an email to [email protected] to find out what's the holdup.
