Membership Drive Week Four

[MEMBERSHIP]

Week Four isn't done yet...but that's a good thing since we have not yet achieved the goal of 200 new and renewing Members!

So far this week, we've only had 17 new Members join and 17 renewals. This brings the running count to 87 new Memberships and 84 renewals, or 171 total. 29 shy of the goal.

needs your :helpme: if we are to get to 200 by Monday at at midnight... If you are expired or expiring soon and plan to renew, now's a good time! If you are not a Member, but plan to join "someday"... well, today is as good a day as any!

I'll not post the Chapter tally just now, since it's not a done deal yet.

To those of you who have already participated, we thank you!

Lets get the word out, and make this years drive a success!

Maybe it's the way new people are recieved?

Some of you might remember the way I was flammed by many of you when I posted a question on WFF 08'. I for one will not have anything to do with the Sierra chapter except occasionally read some of the posts. Many of you are great guys but unfortunately are ruled by a few select bad apples. So you suffer the fate you have chosen. 171 members. WOW.

Go ahead, prove me right and flame the hell out of me. Or maybe take a critical look at the opportunities this presents for YOUR organization.

I don't understand? Proving you right about what?
People are quick to defend when others offend.
Thread started with a little confusion and gas was added to the fire.

As for welcoming I have never had an issue.
I have met a few (from what I can tell) great guys!

I also try to keep everything positive as possible.
Trying to read emotion through text never works, ask my wife.
