Medano- how deep?

Has anyone been over Medano recently?
I am thinking of heading over on Saturday but
I am a little nervous about that last water crossing
with as much runoff as we have had this year.

I have 3.5" of lift and 31's but no snorkel

Closed due to high water last I heard

That was the first trail I ever ran, and it was late spring, as I recall. The creeks were fairly high. I was following a full size Bronco on 31's and I was stock. I had no clue what I was doing, so I used the attack at full speed method for the water crossings. I had waves going over the windshield, and water coming in through the vents. Didn't get stuck or hydolock it though. Miracles do happen.

In summary, as wet as it has been, I'd wait. Now that I know a little bit, water crossings make me nervous.

Yea, I was afraid of that. Thanks for the updates, you saved me a lot
of gas money.

The weather is great but all the fun passes are still snowed in and even medano is closed for water. It is frustrating this time of year.

I just got back from Rocky Mountain National Park. Trail ridge road
was open but the plow was still parked at the top and the snow that it
had to cut through to open the road was over 8' deep in places.
