Manastash/Naches Washouts

I just traded a couple e-mails with my Ranger contact at the Cle Elum office, it looks like the trail system up there is all but inaccessible as of right now. Manastash Rd. is washed out, the road at Tamarak (leading to barber Springs) is blocked off due to unsafe washouts. Not sure about access off of hwy 410, maybe someone else here can add info to this regarding south end access. Our planned club trip to Manastash has been re-routed to Liberty, as several of those trails have been cleared and we'll do some more work while we're up there. Be safe up in the hill of central WA, as there is still plenty of snow and the mud/slop that goes with it.

thanks for the update!! I heard the same about the manastash side. I just hope its not too bad

The manastash slide really sucks... I haven't seen it yet but that's my normal go to play area, even when I'm not wheeling. I might now away around but I haven't checked if it's actually possible.

The best way to get up there right now is the 1701 road (bald mountain road). It is the last turn on your left on HWY 410 before you get to the landslide detour.
