Ive decided to get a BRAND NEW motor for my jeep i have to start savin might take me about 3 almost 4 months maybe sooner who knows but its totally worth it. heres the site im getting it from

and the motor is only 1,165 bucks! not too bad considering ill never have to worry about the damn thing breakin down on me EVER! haha

Hmmmm... I would go with a different company and if your going to spend that much, get a remanufactured engine, not a rebuilt one... I would go with a newer engine too, like a 96+.

i dont think a H.O 4.0 is a direct bolt in on a renix jeep and the wiring isnt the same. so im told... not 100% sure

Just go to a junk yard and pull the harness...

take all your accesories off, and bolt the renix ones on... I put a motor from a 98 into an 87 renix MJ this summer...

oh ok so would i use the wiring harness off the new motor? or would i use the original wiring harness?
