Looking for a Carburetor Reapir Shop

[Lurch]

Posting this for a coworker. He has a '82 CJ-7 with the 2.5L engine that he can't get to pass smog. The shop he had taken it to get the carb adjusted suggested that he get a new carburetor... and engine.

Obviously he'd like a second opinion. Anyone know of any reputable shops in the Long Beach/LA/North OC area?

I have used this place 4 times for my Wagoneer. They do a great job and are not licensed to smog but have the equipment to test run you car before they give it back to you. Just tell them you have smog issues and need to pass and they will set you up. Just ask for Robert and tell him your issue to get it resolved quick.

we ebayed a new carb for cheaper than what we could find a shop to rebuild one for ctm jacks cj 2.5.....it was a little over $100
