Well yesterday my sub started "farting" so to speak... and well i just wanna buy a new one... I was looking at http://cartoys.com/Default.cfm/p/JL_Audio_12W1v2_4/
I was wondering if anyone has one that has any good/bad things to say about it. I just have one sub in there as i don't care for having more then one I will be running a 600 watt amp to it.

I used to have two 12w6s powered by 200ixs and to this day that combo is still my benchmark. I'm currently running a 400x4 with the front channels bridged for a 10" eclipse, rear channels double hi-passed for the 2 front infinitis.

How was that pushin? I just like a little bass... I had a JBL GT5-12 with my 600 watt amp and it sounded good, and wasn't too much bass.

The 10" eclipse is in a ~1cu.ft box and the amp is giving it 250-300watts rms. It's nice and tight and not boomy. Clarity over loudness! I do remember installing a 12w1 in a 1.25-1.5cu ft box powered by the bridged rear channels of a 40x4 alpine in a gti and it sounded good.

FI audio! My buddy has an 18 and it is insanely loud. They actually custom build these things to the specs you want. They have a list of options from mild to INSANE!

I would rather just buy somthing that i can just go grab at the store and toss in my box and call it good.

Well in that case you can't go wrong with Kicker. JL is overpriced IMO.

INFINITY Kappa Perfect 10" has to be one of the best subs out there for less than 150, give it a look it sounds better then my buddies 12w3
