Put two lift kits in two TJ's, one OME and a 1" daystar bodylift as well as a JKS engine lift. Took 4 of us 7 hours counting the pizza and beer. So nice to be able to do it in a garage. Still beat though, that engine lift was a minor PIA... OTOH got over my very strong dislike for spring compressors. Would have saved time if we had put the rear trackbar relocation bracket on the first time...Was also nice with both TJ's being pretty brand new with no dirt, rust or broken bolts to deal with. nite all...going to go check my eyelids for light leaks..

wow rich,,busy day ? those nasty lil, extremely dangerous spring compressor's suck,,,till you actually get the ball's to use them for 3 minute's and then they are great once again,,,till the next time :D
the scary part is when they get tight, and twist. this is why god put extra blanket's in our house. :D

Swapped out every suspension component on the XJ today, save shocks, and will tear into the t-case tomorrow.

I do like Kevins trackbar conversion....very nice piece of work.

Sounds like a slow day at work for me.

Can't say in regards to the TNT piece, but I like the design better than the RE unit. Less of a moment on the unibody as the body side has it's center in about the same place as the stock mount. That and you get money back if you send him your old mount.

And the t-case curse struck again. Finished getting the PORC SYE in, and didn't leave anything out this time(magnet, spring, oil pump). Go to put my front shaft in the rear, and snap a bolt off n the threaded piece of the shaft. Can't find my easy outs, and I've been at the thing sice 1pm!

Oh well, I'll drop the spare front off for balancing tomorrow, and just order a decent CV shaft.
