Loch Lomond - Closed??

Hey - Does anyone have the low down as to why Loch Lomond, near Fall River Rd / St. Mary's is closed? Went up there on Thursday and the gate is locked with no explanation and the weather and road was clear. Just wondering. I went over Kingston Pass instead and had a great time!
