1987 XJ 4 door

Selling my 87 for $3,500 OBO and I mean OBO. Reasonable offers! I need to sell it quick. Need to sell for FJ40 restoration project.

The good
5” lift
custom winch bumper
8,000 lb. Mile Marker winch (optional in sell for $250 additional)
Rear tire carrier modified for 33-35 in tires.
On Board Air compressor
Spooled in rear
Dana 44
Spare hi pinion dana 30 with 4.88 gears.
Stock gearing in 44 and 30 (3.07) You just need to re-gear rear with 4.88)
Extended sway bar links
Con Ferr roof rack
Rockers
33” mud tires on Rock Crawler 8” with 3.75 back spacing
motor has 244,000 on it but runs strong
home made snorkel
extended rear bump stops
fenders trimmed for 35s
bunch of extras
moved starter switch to toggle for crawling with starter
All windows roll down
All lights work


The bad
Engine sometimes is a hard start. Must give it gas to turn over like with a carb. Sporadically happens.
Sometimes engines idles. give a bit of gas to bring back to 600 rpms (quick tap of peddle)
Needs new TPS to fix.

I am keeping the 2 front Hella lights and the HI-lift
There is more but can’t think of it.
You smog it (it just passed last year) so it is sold AS IS.

Will deliver as far as Fresno or Sac area for gas.

I sold it to a pirate guy.

I do have the 1989 publication service manuals (reproductions) that I am selling. They are like 110 new and I am selling for 80 or best. Look in the for sale section.

I did get what I want since I am keeping my winch. There is enough room for me to mount it in the rear (where the XJ gas tank would be underneath) so that I have a 12000 pounder up front and an 8,000 pounder in the rear. Should be pretty clean.
