That was what it felt like trying to climb this icy hill. Check out this quicktime video:

Did I mention that I LOVE snow wheeling? That was one of the most perfect days to be on the trail ever.

so did she ever make it up? That must have been an E ticket ride the first time she slid down backwards with no control

Never had much of a chance to wheel in the snow but VA clay when its wet is pretty much the same. when you have givin up on 4low and gone to 4 hi and tring to hit the bottom with as much speed as you can and still not make it sucks but its fun.

That's a CJ7 and yes it did misbehave and does on every run. That thang blew its engine on the way home, rods through the block and everything. Last run it was a broken center pin in a model 20 ARB.

No slicks on the TJ in the TJ in the video, it is the same one in the foreground of the photo. She was our trail leader that day as she is a local and knows the area really well. She pulled out of the line at that hill figuring that she wouldn't make it up so by the time we made her go up the hill the snow was well packed and polished by 5 other rigs going up and sliding down several times each. I only did the back slide once, boy was I scared! In reality nothing bad could happen as we were trapped in some deep ruts but the trees were wizzing by only inches away!

Yes, she did make it after about 10 tries, as did everybody else. I was really happy with that 'cause everybody (including me) were able to drive an obstacle that they didn't think they would make.
