uh, its a 6 speed.

i tried to do a search, but i couldnt find it. I know that the 05 Dakota is getting a 6 speed as standard equip, so its probably the same one. I want to say its a getrag or a ZF. probably the same manufacturer as the Viper trans.

It is the NSG 370 out of the Daimler parts bin. a similar version of it is used in the M class Benz IIRC

I had seen this a few weks ago on Mike's Jeep News. The word is it is the same 6-speed Mercedes has been using. I think it is a Getrag. The entire line of Jeep vehicles is supposed to get it according to the article.

Neat, wonder how much the lube for THAT is gonna cost :D as if the gl-3 is not bad enough..

Wait until you see how much power steering fluid is gonna cost for the WK.

If it's anything like the fluid that VW specifies, plan on spending close to 30 bucks for a liter of it....

If it is mineral based like the older AUDI'S used to be then your gonna take it in the shorts !!

Not only that but, YOU'LL never be able to take it in to Jiffy Lube, since they'll slap in anything lying around and then your whole steering system will need to be replaced.

:bawl: BIG $$$$$$$$$

Also watch for the Hemi in the Grand Cherokees.
