Leaking sunroof

I am looking for options/opinions I have a leaking sunroof. There is no saving what is there there is parts missing and or broke. I would rather Remove it all together, but I'm not sure what is the best way to fill /cover the hole in the roof.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you still have the glass, you could always use RTV or caulk to hold it in place and seal it.

I sealed it with RTV but I believe the roof sheet metal flexes enough that the RTV will only last a year or so and it starts leaking again.

Sounds like you will need to carry an umbrella with you.

it robably leaks at the corners of the gasket, and you need the drain lines in the a pilars.

seal the corners with red RTV an it will stay sealed.
ugly truck was like that for many years.

There are drain lines but I can't say if they are clear. I have been sealing it with the black silicone in a cheese wiz can I can't remember the brand name of it.
I have thought about cutting that section out of a jeep at a jy and just laying it on top and gluing it on. 3m makes some pretty impressive body adhesives so I've been told. I'm not sure it could be welded in and not make a total warped mess out of it.

I have not had good luck with Flex Seal. I have found duck tape works better.

but you see, there is the potential for some DNA to stick to the duct tape where as Flex Seal is able to be sprayed from @2' away and keep you and your DNA out of the evidence zone.....rookies....
