Oh she will definitely know how to kick ass. I have quite a bit of empty hand technique I can pass on from Shotokan and Aikido. I've also studied rapier, long sword and quarter staff and I'm not bad throwing knife and axe. She won't have any trouble saying NO in the most definite and disabling terms. I doubt that her mom is going to let her do much wrenching, though.

My granddaughter, Lauren Claire, was born on Friday the 13th as well. 8 Lbs even, 19.5 inches. I can't claim much responsibility, but she's cute as a bug if I say so myself. I'll have to see if I can get a picture from my son.
Two Laurens on the same day. Eerie.

Please extend our congratulations to your son and his family.
When our Lauren is old enough I can show her the
archives and she can see that she is not alone as a Friday 13th baby. My wife's uncle was born on Friday 13th (some years ago, I'm not sure what month). With him as an example we had no fear.
