Last Night of 3rd Shift!

So yeah, I got a new J.O.B.

I was scheduled to work this Job (the one I'm supposed to be running right now) until Nov. 14th. Friday I got an Email that informed me that they needed me at the new place pronto and they convinced my current HR folks to let me transfer early. So now I'm scheduled to start Tuesday morning at 8!

I'm excited! No more nights, no more nasty smelling oily uniforms, no more metal chips in my hair, no more smashing my fingers between heavy cast parts, no more lots of other things.

Now I get one of those fancy pants sit on my ass all day jobs. We'll see how long it takes for that to get old.

Reguardless, I'm looking forward to a change!

Yeah right. I did get an email today saying that I am due for training at 10:30am.

no more metal chips in my hair,.

Nothting worst than working a 10-12 hour day. You get home, hop in the shower, shampoo up then slice your hand/head open with a chip that was stuck in your hair.........dont miss that at all.

Lol, got scars to remember it by.

I usually do a no no and blow the chips out of my hair and off my clothes with the air nozzle before I leave.
