I'm spending $2900 which isn't the greatest, but in return I'm getting a fully built 4.7L with crane cam, bored throttle body, and a header. I figured with the way my engine is right now it's a nice preventative purchase, and I can sell what's currently sitting under my hood. I'll probably put in a hesco water pump, and a few other aftermarket goodies. Picking up the engine on saturday. 
Ooh and where I'm stationed now in Florida has some great trails right around the base. Lots of sand trails, but there's also some muddy/rocky stuff that I'm used to. One of the guys in training with me is a local and we'll go wheeling. I'll take some pics for you guys.
