JKS rear shock mount hoop/crossover

I can take some later, but its basically a hunk of steel, not bent or abused, so it will function like the new one in the link above.

I have no idea. I never got to use it since the XJ had to be sold.

how much exhaust hacking do you need to make this work? I could really use this...

On my 1997, I cut the exhaust off in front of the rear axle and angled it downward.

The stock exhaust completely interferes with passenger side side shock in any of the 4 configurations.

is it home brew or is it the actual jks mount ?
JKS brand.

Thanks for the help. :) I had my exhaust the same way, so I guess I wouldn't have even known if it had made it onto my jeep.

ocean jet is it really that good to run ?

I run it because I got a new axle with raised shock mounts and my shocks were pretty much new so I put this on so I didn't need to get new shocks again.

I really didn't notice much of a change in the ride, but I also run the shocks at the most vertical configuration, with the top mounted to the outermost position. They are definitely angled in though. I've heard that shocks perform best at 90* relative to the axle, and that makes sense to me.

If you want to run longer shocks mounted up on the axle tube for clearance, I think it's a decent solution. I don't know if there's a need to run it otherwise?

Yeah, exactly why I bought it. Longer travel shocks with raised mounts on the tube for ground clearance.
