Holy shit! Had to come vent to you guys. Everytime I look at anything on the jeep forum I swear my IQ drops. There was a guy that asked what do long arms do, and another guy said that it keeps your wheel base the same when you lift it LMAO! Then there was a guy just now that was all confused because he had a hose plugged into the back of his front diff and had no idea that it was a breather hose. This is just examples from reading on there yesterday. I cant remember all the instances where this type of stupidity is present. But it is there every single day and it makes me laugh at first, and then after a while I wonder what the world is coming to. Is everyone in the world that retarded? NEVER GET ADVISE FROM JEEPFORUM! Those guys scare me with their stupidity. /endrant

Ahhhh.... you have discovered jeep forum. LOL I think it's hilarious when someone actually post up some advanced fabrication, or some actual wheeling vids or pics over there people treat them as if they were a god. LOL Not everyone is saavy when it comes to diagnosing or wrenching on their own junk, and I don't expect them to be. However, I do have to agree on the way things are over there though. I usually get a few good laughs from there. You see the thread from the guy whose entire cooling system froze solid due to not having a drop of antifreeze in it??

Ya I stopped going on Jeep forum a long time ago.

I remember when I first joined Jeep Forum after getting my XJ; lol. It was pretty fun, yet lame at the same time. Then I discovered ! As for Pirate4x4, I just go over there and admire their rigs; not saying a word.

I used to participate over on Pirate alot when I had full sized rigs. There just really isn't much over there for us XJers though.

Jeep Forum has its good moments, the WJ area is better than the Grand Cherokee version of . The downside is that there are so many people spouting off bad information.

Pirate is the shiznit for Tech and Awesome new products.

I find JF has some good Tech stuff... It has came in handy a few times but yes I agree about some of them being as sharp as a bag of marbles. I post a question about my 2.8L on there and all I got was "Swap a 4.0 in it and re-ask the question"

The only reason I go on jeepforum is to sell stuff. I sold some front coils over there to a wrangler guy. My add stated that they were xj lift coils. Dude asked if they would fit on his wrangler. I told him "no problem". About 5 days after I shipped them he emailed back and asked where the other 2 coils were.

thats too funny... i used to post over there a bit, mostly trying to find people in my area. I don't know everything and I'm a horrible welder, but all good things come in time, and you won't ever know unless you ask. Naxja I have found is more my speed, good people who like to have a laugh but still have the knowledge base to give you really great advice.
