I have seen other shop request threads, wish there was a sticky for that.
But here is my issue that I need help with.

I have a 92 Loredo. The motor rebuilt last year. I think I have only put about 8 or 9K on it since its rebuilt. It was done by a little shop in Las Vegas because I used to live out there. Anyways.
The issue is that now it I'm moving I'm shooting up in temp to close to redline. My levels are good. Just did an oil change 200 miles ago. I'm scared that my recirculating track on the motor is plugged again. Any people have de preventative maintenance or ideas of what I could do to correct this problem.
Or a shop 50 miles of Pasadena
I really do need a shop though I have other issues I need a mechanic for.

Thank you for reading and any feedback will help.

I am currently having this issue, well was.

Rebuilt engine was running stupid warm and came close to red twice going up the grape vine. Found out my Rad Cap was leaking a bit so i swapped that. I also added spacers on the hood to let the hot air out and did a coolant flush.

With all that done i ran the jeep this weekend and it ran great! Never got close to red even when going up the grapevine in 3rd gear. Hottest it got was maybe a tad over the 210 mark. Also, the motor was ran with more water than coolant in the system. I will be performing another flush and refilling with Purified water along with some coolant.

Good luck

I did the spacers on the hood a while ago too... Huuuge difference! Also wired the fan to stay on all the time. Towing 3 quads up a hill at 55 and it stays at 210 or less all the time.

Before you do anything, try a $5 radiator cap! Might work, might not...either way, it only cost you 5 bucks... An article was just posted on Rock Auto's newsletter and the guy spent a lot of money to find out it was just a cap not venting off steam...

Thank you everyone who got back so fast.
I went out and got a new radiator cap and that seems to have done the trick for the most part as I can tell. I let her sit and idle for about 15 mins after I took her for a 10 minute drive. And she stayed around 190ish. Give or take.

I'm still gonna add some spacers to the hood. Because after reading more on this forum and seeing how people have cut vents, I have come to my mini conclusion that hot air just never leaves that engine bay. I'm also having it looked at this Friday by 4Wheel Parts in Azusa. Just because I have other issues that are going on. And I honestly don't know much about Jeeps. And i don't want to **** shit up seeing how it's my daily and my project is still down.

But again thank you all for quick responses.

Anyone know where they will recharge our old AC units?

What kind of mechanical issues are you having with your jeep? I'm sure someone here can look at your rig and help you out for less that what 4 Wheel parts is charging.

Well the A/C went out.. Should just need a recharge though.
I know the alignment is all messed up.

The big issue is that when I'm going through a right hand corner if I hit a bump the right front just starts hopping violently creates a horrible shake :shiver:
basically the emoticon says it all. If your going like 65 you have to back it down all the way to 45.

Plus I think my brakes need to be redone and replaced.

Just things that go wrong with a truck that old..

Ohhhhhh, you got death wobble. That could be a multitude of things. Bushings, loose botls, bad alignment, mis matched tires, badly worn tires...

yeah, death wobble. Brakes and all the little stuff is easy peasy. Ask one of the guys if they are willing to give you a hand.
