Idle Air Solenoid Help

Ok my IAS is bad. I have it disconnected but since its cold here now I am getting bad cold Idle. When it warms up its fine but cold its very low. So I need to buy one now. I just got back from the dealer and they want $137 for it and a week to get it. That can't be the best price. I remember checking www.carparts.com in the past but couldn't find it. Is this a dealer only part? Where is everyone else getting there's?

Did you check Napa?

By IAS you mean Idle Air Control Motor?

Stepper motor...idle air control motor...same difference I believe.

I just bought my IAC yesterday at Napa for $78CDN (60USD).

I was just browsing Autozones website. They have a Idle air control vavle for $65 a Wells PN#AC301 Is that it?

I got the Wells brand at Autozone for about $60 also and it solved my problem. Before you spring for it I would suggest pulling it and cleaning it and the throttle body hole. Be careful not to lose the rubber o-ring. This helped some and seemed to solve the racing idle for about a year. Eventually I had to replace it- but you may be lucky.

Yeah I have cleaned it several times and it comes back. Its very old and since I have pretty much everything else new except a fuel pump and regulator I might as well get this. Thanks for all your help.
