Ice House this weekend

Just a note, I'll be at Ice House this weekend (6/19/09). Kind of a fishing, wheeling type outing. Friend has property there and if any members are heading up, let me know and we can get together fo a beer or two. Plan as of now is to arrive Friday evening, fish Union Valley for Mac's on Saturday morning (Friend's boat). Wheel Wentworth Springs to Loon in the afternoon. Sunday Morning, wheel into Spider and fish or if to crowded, maybe fish Ice House.

Anyone heading up, let me know.

Saturday is the HiLanders Poker Run. They go in Loon and out Wentworth.
Probably 80 plus rigs. Advise that you adjust your schedule.

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like the last members will be in by 9:30am. Our plan as it stands now includes an afternoon trip.

I know Rubithon is going on as well.

I guess we will play it by ear.
 
Well, we made it back. Had a blast. Trolled Ice House for an hour on Friday and picked up 5 trout between the 2 of us for dinner. 10"-12" rainbows. Fished again on Saturday morning and got limits by 12:00, including 2 browns to 14".

In the afternoon we made our way to Loon for some wheel'n. I have to say, it was a blast. Here's a few pictures.

Only one of Ice House, none of the fish, sorry!

I thought I was holding up the rubicon behind me, but as it passed the woman that was driving (too fast) bounced off a couple of rocks throwing the passengers around hurting a little girl that was in the back. The man in the passenger seat just rolled his eyes.

Few more. I just got a taste of the Rubicon, made it as far as Ellis Creek, before we had to start heading back towards camp
