Ok. I've got a 91 mazda Miata thats in great shape (158k) and A guy wants to trade me for a 91 YJ (123k). I don't know too much about the Yj yet but the guy wants to talk tomorrow. I'm tired of all my friends talking sh*t about my chick-car, and would like to get another Jeep to tinker with. Kbb value for the Jeep is more than my Mazdarati.

If someone in the Baltimore area would be willing to go for a ride with me to take a look at it this weekend, there's beer in it for you. Maybe even a lap dance if you wanna get wierd

90 was the last year of the carb & 4.2. 91 would have been a 4.0 or 2.5.

don't waste your time if it's a 2.5 as they can't get out of their own way. only advantage is they come with 4.10's stock.

like these guys said, frame rot is ridiculous on most YJ's so bring a ball peen hammer and check everywhere on the sides and back. you don't want to chase and keep patching a frame that's completely rotting from the inside out.

the floors also rot on those, as well as the windshield frames. both are pretty easily replaced, just check it out ahead of time so you know what you're getting into.

my b, 92 is when they intro'ed the roll bar that covered the rear seats and changed the gauges and replaced the dash clock with the 4wd indicator

Thanks for all your help guys. It's a 4.0, I'll be sure to check for the rot you all mentioned. He's got it in stock shape so hopefully I'm not getting sloppy seconds on a heep thats been ridden hard and put away wet (lord knows I've had plenty of women like that). Only issue I could see from the pictures was that it was yellow.
