Yeah I feel the same way. I was replacing battery cables and an alternator when it was 5 degrees here. Luckily my buddy owns the house next to him and the people just moved out so now its vacant. 2 car garage with nothing in it, probably would still be driving around with a bent control arm mount if it wasn't for this warm garage that he let me work in. plus a nice concrete floor is better than a rock driveway, those things hurt after you lay on them for long enough.
